Led by EcoCrews’ client coordinator, Kylie, our team of four, including two new recruits recently headed to a stunning 800-acre property on the South Coast of NSW, ready to plant a whopping 1,100 plants.
Proper site preparation is crucial for any project, and this property was well prepared. The grass had been kept down by cattle, red markers guided us to each planting spot, and we meticulously organised the plant guards.
Using native species, we created natural habitat corridors and contributed to the well-being of local wildlife, including sugar gliders, wallabies, quolls, echidnas, birds, and even the hope of attracting koalas.
The satisfaction of knowing our efforts benefit these native animals makes every moment worth it!
