NSW Wildlife Sanctuary:
Protecting and enhancing the natural environment
EcoCrews worked on a wildlife sanctuary and rehabilitation site in NSW. Over a period of time the Crew completed some really important work. Scroll down to learn more.
Our work included:
- Fixing and enhancing the fencing around an enclosure for orphaned joeys so they could be successfully rehabilitated.
- Planting trees to provide a food source for local fauna.
- Constructing and installing substantial guards to ensure that new plants were protected from being eaten by kangaroos.
- Removing weeds that were outcompeting the natural biodiversity and health of the local environment.
