EcoCrews launches on the NSW South Coast

We’re proud to announce that EcoCrews™ has officially LAUNCHED on the NSW South Coast!

Together with the local community, media, our partners and crew members we celebrated EcoCrews at the Eurobodalla Regional Botanic Gardens.

EcoCrews Regional Manager, Tim Cahill officially launching the EcoCrews Program.

Working closely with our project hosts Eurobodalla Shire Council, Bega Valley Shire Council and SAGE Stepping Stone Farm each EcoCrew will comprise of 6 Crew members plus an experienced Team Supervisor.

Our inaugural crews will be completing projects like seed collection, planting, repairing public spaces, clearing damaged landscapes, protecting local waterways, erosion control and prevention and so much more – all while getting paid.

They will also be receiving accredited training including their construction white card, certificate in chemical application and units towards Cert II in Conservation & Land Management.

After a challenging few years. we were thrilled to be able to come together, celebrate the resilience of the community and create hope for the future by completing vital bushfire regeneration, creating employment opportunities and pathways for local people.
